What is One Million Cups?
1 Million Cups  is based on the notion that entrepreneurs network and discover solutions over a million cups of coffee. The free, weekly gathering helps build the business community. To learn more about the program, click here.
How does it work?
Every Wednesday morning, two entrepreneurs will present their businesses to an audience of mentors, advisers and other entrepreneurs. Each entrepreneur will present for six minutes, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session with the audience.
For entrepreneurs
Here’s your chance to make it count! You’ve got 6 minutes to tell your community who you are, what you’re doing, and why you’re doing it.
The program offers an opportunity to explain any hardships or challenges you’re trying to work through. Not getting enough foot traffic? Not sure how to market your small business effectively? Needing advice on accounting or legal issues? This is the place to engage with a community that wants to engage and assist.
In the 20 minute Q&A session after your presentation, you’ll be given the opportunity to engage with audience members to help strengthen your business. All of this leads up to the Million dollar question (see what we did there?) “What can we as a community do to help you?”
For the audience,
It’s a space to meet and encourage your local businesses and entrepreneurs. Being apart of a 1MC audience is a great way to network and share ways that your services may benefit their business.
